The UNSILENCED Manifesto
SILENCE WAS NEVER THE ANSWER.
Labels are often used to close a conversation before it begins. We turn them back into questions.
Questioning authority is not betrayal. Criticism is not disloyalty. Democracy does not become stronger when its citizens become quieter.
We believe independent thought should be visible. Ideas should leave private rooms, closed screens and unfinished conversations. They should enter the street.
QUESTION THE LABEL.
A word used to dismiss you can become the beginning of an argument.
WEAR THE ARGUMENT.
Every design begins with an idea worth carrying into public. The garment is the medium. The wearer gives it a voice.
REFUSE THE SILENCE.
Your voice does not become illegitimate because it makes someone uncomfortable.
We do not tell people what to think.
We refuse to let anyone tell them not to think.
UNSILENCED — WEAR YOUR VOICE.
